The Problem
The existing visual identity for Trader Joe’s sparkling water relies on high-saturation neon greens and dense, competing design elements that create visual noise. This overwhelming aesthetic conflicts with the core Trader Joe's brand identity, which has historically leaned on a handcrafted, organic, and deeply human feel.
The Solution
Developed a conceptual refresh that grounds the product back into the authentic Trader Joe's ecosystem. By researching the brand's established digital presence and classic illustration styles, I implemented a muted color palette and texture-rich crosshatch shading. The resulting layout cleans up the distracting elements while restoring a hand-drawn, artisanal quality to the packaging.
